Ingredients

  • 200 g Maltesers
  • 180 g Milk Chocolate
  • 180 g Dark Chocolate
  • 120 g Butter
  • 150 g Golden Syrup
  • 200 g Malted Milk Biscuits
  • 100 g Raisins
  • 50 g White Chocolate

  • Take half of the Maltesers and crush them into pieces, this only needs to be done roughly with big and small pieces. Place them into a large bowl and set aside.
  • Crush the malted milk biscuits into pieces and add them to the crushed Maltesers. Mix together thoroughly.
  • Add in the raisins and mix through.
  • Place the butter. milk chocolate, dark chocolate and golden syrup into a pan and melt together gently over low heat, stirring continuously.
  • Pour the melted ingredients into the large bowl with the dry ingredients.
  • Stir everything together thoroughly using a spatula or spoon so that all of the dry ingredients are covered in chocolate.
  • Pour this mixture into the tin and press it down gently to remove any air pockets and help it to hold together.
  • Sprinkle the whole Maltesers over the top and press them down gently into the mixture.
  • Melt the white chocolate and drizzle evenly over the top of the tray bake.
  • Place the tray bake into the fridge for at least 2 hours until set.
  • Remove the tray bake from the fridge and lift out of the tin using the overhanging paper.
  • Place the Tiffin on a chopping board.
  • Cut it into the desired-sized slices or squares before serving of storing (For storage instructions please see the recipe post).
